Bloom Blissfully: Victoriously dressed by His beauty

Hey Ladies,

So death, tell me, where is your victory? Tell me death, where is your sting? (1 Corinthians 15:55)

As we read through 1 Corinthians 15:54-58, we can clearly see that we are victorious through Christ. We are His victorious children, ready to conquer all evil from this world because we have full authority through Jesus. Especially to tread upon metaphorical snakes and scorpions, meaning that we can overcome all power of the enemy through the magnificent power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 10:19).

There are definitely times where I struggle to believe these facts, nonetheless, we can be assured that we are His victorious people, and maybe if we grasp this enormous - yet simple concept - we will be able to walk and be dressed in complete victory.

But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. So now, beloved ones, stand firm and secure. Live your lives with unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures (1 Corinthians 15:57-58).

“...our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures...”

There will be times in our lives where we feel undeniably beaten down and defeated. Yet, as I was reading this specific passage, I realized that all the hardships that I went through and the ones that are yet to come, will not be forgotten and left behind without effect. As we are in union with our Heavenly Father, our hardships will be rewarding, resulting in endless and enduring fruit. This is such a liberating feeling, just to know that if we endure and fight our battle with Him, we can walk in glorious victory and also benefit from its lasting effects.

How incredible to know that we have total victory over all sin since we were co-crucified with Jesus at the cross, meaning our old selves that had control over our destiny is now defeated and has been crucified on the cross with Jesus, as a result, we receive the eternal life with Him- a new, set destiny. Jesus overcame and removed the empowerment of sin driven by the law, through His act of love.

This tall and mighty statue of a woman, standing 93 meters tall, has a sense of victory and freedom. Her beacon-hand radiates light for all to see and her steadfast look/eyes portray dignity and fierceness beautifully.

My prayer is that all of us will recognize that we are clothed in beauty and grace, but at the same time, that we are victorious, no matter what our background story might be. May we all burn our lamps (Matthew 5:14), unite as one (1 Corinthians 12:12-27), and support each other through our hardships.

'Jesus, thank you that we can walk in great liberty and victory because of Your selfless and caring heart. Thank you that we can walk in confidence and boldness, knowing that You go with us to fight our battles (For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory…Deuteronomy 20:4). May we always strive to be humble and grateful towards you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.'

As you spend time with our Heavenly Father and abide with Him today, meditate on this song: Death Where Is Your Sting - Cory Asbury.

Lots of Love,

Tehillah
