Bloom Blissfully: God’s love radiates eternal light

Hey Ladies,

Have you ever experienced cold, pitch-black darkness creeping into your heart? Have you ever experienced anxiety and fear in such a way that it felt like a dark, gloomy storm cloud creeping towards you, surrounding every part of you, lastly consuming every last bit of fresh air and light?

It creeps into every bit of our inner being

At least there is a saying, every cloud has a silver lining. There are still times where I find myself consumed by anxiety and fear. Fortunately, I have learned how to trample and overcome it, but it is only possible through the magnificent power of our Heavenly Father. He is our silver lining, dashing through these clouds with His abundant love. Just as Jesus said: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

No matter how overwhelming circumstances can get, just remember that perfect love can drive out all forms of fear. Knowing that God is love (1 John 4:16-19), helps to create a calm and peaceful mindset so that we can stay positive and focus on what needs to be done. He also helps us to see through the misty clouds of this world.

…Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid… John 14:27

When I find myself in a position where I feel anxious and alone, I just close my eyes and see how the Holy Spirit finds His way through the darkness, letting every bit of it evaporate into thin air. He shines His light of love through me, guiding me in the right direction, reminding me that I too am the light of the world like a city on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:13-15).

Letting our Heavenly Father into our daily lives, helps us to have a bright sunshiny day, not being blinded by dark clouds. Seeing the end, awaiting us, in crystal clear vision. Just as a song, Jesus bring us a bright day and fills us with joy:

"I can see clearly now the rain is gone I can see all obstacles in my way Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind It's gonna be a bright (bright) Bright (bright) sunshiny day It's gonna be a bright (bright) Bright (bright) sunshiny day

Oh, yes I can make it now the pain is gone All of the bad feelings have disappeared Here is that rainbow I've been praying for It's gonna be a bright (bright) Bright (bright) sunshiny day"

May we all trust in the Lord, not fearing what tomorrow might bring (Matthew 6:26). May we rise each morning and sing hymns of glory to Him.

If you feel any form of darkness trying to creep into your life, pray this prayer and let the Holy Spirit take control:

Heavenly Father, thank you that You’re the light of this world. Thank you for sending your Son to step down into darkness, taking our place, and paying the price for us. Thank you for opening my eyes, only to see Your love radiating eternal light, showing darkness that it is only the absence of light. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lots of Love,

Tehillah

xx
